God Bless you, 73's and..."Howdy from Texas" I am 53 Years old... A Born and Bred Texan, originally from Buna Texas.

By trade, I am a Manager with a large MEP Contracting company that specializes in the Engineering of all aspects of Air Conditioning / Refrigeration, and Digital Electronic building management Controls Systems (EMS) and Automated Generator Systems

We are Christians, love the Lord, and reside Here, in the small rural town of Silsbee, Texas.

Population of about 8000 folks. I am married to a wonderful woman (who puts up with me... everyday!)

And we consider ourselves (undeserving) but...So very Blessed... by God.

Hurricane Rita and Ike...Blew right on through here, and really devastated most of this lovely country and community.

But I must say...I've never seen so many "hard working folks" rise up, pull together, and with The Lords Blessings... Slowly put all the peices... back together again..."Bless you, all of our neighbors"

Ham Radio???....I began as a NOVICE 5WPM and Up to Advanced Class and quite Pleased to have done it that way! This is such a enjoyable hobby (in my personal opinion) and the main thing I enjoy is meeting and making new friends along with finding out how far away I can speak to another that we share this earth with...I certainly do enjoy all of the aspects associated with this hobby. So...Let us speak to one another as "Brothers and Sisters" let us share the things we decide to talk about in the SPIRIT that we never know..."JUST HOW WE POSSIBLY CAN... MAKE A DIFFERENCE... IN OUR LIVES" by talking and getting to know one another as a FRIEND.

Politics and Ham radio?...You know... I humble myself, and just allow my heart to speak, I dislike the idea of using Ham radio to run our Country down! As for what I believe...How I feel...For those who would even care, I think that folks in our great nation were honestly ready for the Idea of "CHANGE!" When I hear that word, "CHANGE?" I think It meant that many folks are...truly tired of under-handed politics, controlled by Lobbyist, who are sent out to persuade some who hold office, while using the power of money to get what they want, irreguardless of what "We The People" may think, need, or desire!

I must be what they call an "Independent" and I say that because I believe that the Democrats and The Republican Parties care more about partisian politics, fighting and arguements to slander one another, than they do about what is RIGHT for "We The People!"

I don't think we got where we are today because one... or another, got elected to office. We got where WE ARE today... because for the past many years, SOME have forgotten what the foundation, of this great country, was built upon! Christian people came here, seeking freedom of religion, FREEDOM to believe that we should seek to please GOD ALMIGHTY and his word, for how we should strive to live our lives.

History, notes that our very Constitution was written and founded on the word of GOD, with morals, with love, with CARE for "We The People."

As for the rest of it? I don't desire to get on the air and say things to degrade our Country or it's leaders, especially when there are so many young Men and Women, who have died fighting...In order that I may have - FREEDOM, and THE RIGHT to speak the truth without being persecuted, for doing so.
